Kevin
Welch,
horn, was born in Memphis, Tennessee, and was raised in Arkansas.
He received his BM in 1998 from the Cleveland Institute of Music
where he studied with Shelly Sowers and Richard Kink, former
co-principal and current principal horn of the Cleveland Orchestra,
respectively. Kevin has performed with the Tulsa Philharmonic, Tulsa Ballet,
Youngstown Symphony and the Pine Bluff Symphony Orchestra. He
recently returned from a tour of China, where he gave masterclasses
and recitals in some of the country's top conservatories. Kevin is in
his second year of graduate study at Western Michigan University and
is a student of Dr. Johnny Pherigo.
